Coming from a Kyrie enthusiast, yes I am saying he is overrated and here's why. Irving is a phenomenal player with his amazing handles, playmaking ability, and scoring in iso situations, he is an excitement to watch. This is pretty much all he brings to the table. One of the most notable ways in which Kyrie cannot be the perfect player is his lack of leadership. We've seen it all last season in Boston where Kyrie just is not able to lead his team and allow for them to connect on the floor. Although Kyrie had good playmaking ability, he lacked in showing it most of the time which is another reason as to why he is overrated. Playmaking is considerably one of the key things in being a good all around player. One of the last reasons of why Kyrie is overrated is his impact with the Celtics. Kyrie did not have much of an impact on the team because when he was off the court the team played significantly better and would actually win games, if that doesn't make my point then I honestly don't know what will.
