Celtics swingman turned down a $80 million four year deal with the Celtics because he believes that he is in his prime and should not settle for $20 million each year. Jaylen Brown is an amazing talent with great finishing ability. He now has a few years of experience under his belt, so yes I do side with Jaylen for his decision. He is entering into his prime in basketball and I think it is only fair for them to pay him more with the talent that the Celtics and Danny Ainge know he can bring to the table. Just look back to last year when JB stepped up and played his best ball when Kyrie was out and the Celtics desperately need a leader.
